Sunday Night Pizza!!

We really enjoy spending time with the kids. We like to have them come over whenever they can. Someone said that we hadn't had a "pizza night" in quite a while...so we planned to have everyone over after church. Breck picked up the pizza...Beth cut up the vegetables! We had a great time sitting around the table telling stories and laughing!! Anne is spending the summer in Louisville...so she wasn't here. Hemi, Katie, and Brian got to join us though. Good times!!! Love my family!!!! Thanks to dad for "funding" our fun times!!!

Our Saturday Project!!

ok...Saturday afternoon...we decided to be productive. We got out both lawn mowers and gave the yard a good mowing!!! Alan did the "trim" work close to all of the poisonous bushes and around the trees. We finished just as it started to rain. Have to say that it looked pretty good when we finished. Another successful project finished...unfortunately...we will have to do it again next week!!!

Saturday Morning!

Well, Saturday mornings our usually our "date" mornings. We like to go out for coffee. We try to discuss what we need to get accomplished that day. This past Saturday we went to Panera for my favorite...cinnamon crunch bagel and coffee!!!

Peonies!

I have always heard that you had to have ants to open up peonies. I "googled" that and couldn't find a straight answer. I've always seen ants chewing on the blooms...google says that there is a nectar on the outside of the flowers that the ants chew and then blooms appear. Anyways...I thought I captured a good picture of some ants really working hard.

Flowers!!

My Peonies have been so pretty this year. Thought I would share another picture of one.

Tomatoes!!!

I'm going to try and grow some tomatoes...so I bought one of those topsy turvy planters. We'll follow the progress and see how it grows!!! I also planted some cherry tomatoes in a pot. I'm praying we will grow us some yummy tomatoes!!!

Well...I'm finally trying to post! Here it goes...I wanted to share this picture of a beautiful flower from my yard.
