Twilight Saga!!

July 9,2010...well, tonight was the night that the kids have been planning for a while. It was called the "twilight night". We watched Twilight and New Moon all in the same evening!!! It was a fairly late night because we didn't start the movies until Daniel and Beth got off work. Dad re-arranged the den area so that we would all have a good seat.

Beth, Kristen, Mom, and Lynda were here for the party! We miss Anne!! (she is staying in Louisville for the summer)

Breck, Dad, and Daniel were also here for the big night.

Beth made shirts for the evening. This is the one that she made for herself.

This is the shirt that Beth made for Daniel.

Daniel and Beth.

Beth made these GREAT cupcakes!! Red Velvet...to resemble blood. With Forks (for Forks, WA) and sayings in each cupcake. She is one creative daughter in law!!!

Every movie has to have popcorn....so we each got a popcorn box!!

Food for the evening...Marco's pizza, vegetables and dip, rotel, popcorn, and cupcakes!!!

Marco's pizza!! YUMM!!!

Now that is one GOOD movie supper!!!!

Beth showing us her cupcake and also the "Team Edward or Team Jacob" tags that Kreative Kristen made!!!

Everyone dancing at the end of the movie. You can't say we don't have fun!!!!!

So,today...July 10,2010...we went to Eclipse together. (that is movie #3 from the twilight series) We had a lot of fun together.

Team Edward?!?!?!

or Team Jacob?!?!?!

We had to take several pictures of the girls...we just pretended that we hadn't seen each other in a long time...so had to get our pictures taken together at the movie.

Mom, Kristen, Beth, and Lynda. We have such a FUN family!!!!!

Breck, Dad, and Daniel. They are always such good sports!!!

What a FUN weekend we have had!!! Thanks to a great bunch of kids!!! Love ya!!

A Beautiful Thursday!!!

This was my view this morning as I was headed out to walk. This picture does not show how absolutely beautiful the sunrise was!!!

Ok...here's the story. Lynda and Breck sold their condo last week. They have had it on the market for 7 months. They were getting ready to take it off the market and they got an offer. Lynda and Breck decided to move in with us while we are waiting on Laurie Kate to be born. Anyways, last night was their first night at the house. Oh...I forgot to say that they brought Bella (their dog) and Spike (their cat). So...today I had the "girls" by myself and decide to have fun with them. I was cleaning out my closet and decided to decorate them and then make them ask for treats. :)

This is Holly. She was in the "down" position for a treat.

This is Bella. She wasn't sure what craziness was going on.

I thought this was a really good picture of Ginger. She is my protector. :)

This is Spike. He is staying in the laundry room until we make sure all the ribbon and string are put up around the house. He is sooooo sweet.

The 5th of July!

Kristen is enjoying a chocolate chip cookie! I decided to be nice and make up a batch as a special snack. :)

Hemi, Kristen, and Beth getting a coke out of our new floating cooler. I guess I bought it on clearance a couple of years ago and we had never used it. Pretty fun!!!

All the girls and Breck floating around the pool. It's been a fun summer.

Holly drying off. She accidentally fell in the pool when Kristen was jumping in. She somehow got caught between Kristen's legs. I think she really enjoyed it!!!

Poor Bella....she has to stay on a lead because she digs all the time. She sure is cute though!

Breck figured out his own way to be comfortable!!!

Alan and his "flippers". He had a lot of fun!

Daniel relaxing in the shade with a ceiling fan going. I think he enjoyed some time relaxing and reading.

Fourth of July 2010!!!

We always like to write on our chalkboard for special occasions...so Alan wrote on it this year!! Happy 4th of July 2010!!!

We had WONDERFUL grilled burgers and the fixins!!!!

After lunch we had "pool time". Brian, Brad, Kristen, Breck, and Lynda played "how many times can you hit the ball". I think Beth was somewhere on a float at this time. We didn't open the pool last year...but sure are glad that we did this year!!!

We had a patriotic service at church this evening. They did an excellent job. Beth played in the orchestra and Daniel sang in the choir. Brian also played in the orchestra and his trombone quartet played a special.

Lynda and Breck...being patriotic in their clothing choice. :)

Mom and Kristen.

Alan and I went to Worlds Fair Park to hear the symphony play and to watch the fireworks. It was so crowded that we just set up our chairs on the 7th floor of the parking garage and watched from there. GREAT seats...but it took us 1 hour to get out of the parking lot!!

See all the people!!!!

This was the symphony set up.

So...my new camera has a "fireworks"setting. It was fun playing with it...but I decided not to bore everyone with all of the pictures I took. It was a fun evening!!!

Celebrating the 4th of July!!

Our family has a "tradition" of going to the City of Farragut Parade every 4th of July. Lynda decided to paint her nails this year. (really weren't sure if she could still reach them.) Breck walked in the parade for Fleenor Security. Daniel likes to find and wear a "tacky" 4th of July shirt. We always sit in the same place and we just plain have a good time!! This year I made sausage balls (Beth's request) and we got Dunkin Donut Donut holes. It was a great parade breakfast!

This is Bella and Benni before the parade started.

We had grilled chicken for lunch after the parade. It was yummy!!

Kristen made this neat 4th of July cake. Isn't it patriotic?!?!? GREAT job Kristen!!
