Frday Night At Market Square!

So...it is Friday night. Brian (my second cousin or something) is playing with his trombone quartet in front of Market Square! Alan and I decide to go down and listen to the quartet. They did a great job!

We decided that we would eat supper downtown after listening to the quartet. We called Daniel and Beth...they were heading downtown too...so we decided to eat together. We had to eat somewhere outside because they brought their dog Benni with them. Benni is soooo cute!! We ended up getting some Japanese food and sitting outside. It was a BEAUTIFUL evening!!!! Of course we had some Rita's Ice afterwards. Brian works at Rita's...so we had to support him. :)

Benni was soooo popular!! Everyone wanted to talk to and pet Benni!

Well, let me tell you that sometimes it feels like you are in New York when you see the different people that come out on a Friday night. no need to say anymore!!!

Beth...the audiologist!!

Beth is doing a one year externship at Blount Hearing and Speech Services. Next May she will have doctorate!! Woo Hoo!!! This is what her business card looks like! She is working VERY hard...but seems to really enjoy what she is doing!!

Where did all the food go?!?!?!

Ok...so I loaded the bird feeder with food the other day and within one day it was all gone...but I had not seen one single bird!!!! We have watched Chippie the Chipmunk fill his cheeks in the past...but we weren't sure if he was the one that emptied the feeder this time or not. Those poor birds might be starving!!

Yep...It was Chippie!!! Caught him in the act!!! Alan said he actually saw two...so maybe there is a "Chippette" too?!?!?

Friday Morning Quiet Time

It was such a beautiful morning that I decided to have my "quiet time" out on the patio. I love sittting out there listening to the fountain, the birds, and the dogs chasing critters!! I started a new Bible study on Wednesday nights. It is called Becoming More than a Good Bible Study Girl. It is by Lysa Terkeurst. So far it seems really good.

Beautiful Friday Morning!!

This morning was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! It was cool...low humidity. I went for my 4 mile walk and this is what the sky looked like on my way to walk.

I'm lovin this new cookbook!!

ok...I love cookbooks!!! I just wished I cooked out of them more!!! I need to clarify...I love cookbooks that have pictures!!! So...the other day I was at this bookstore and fount this
Sandra Lee, Semi-Homemade dessert cookbook. I love it!! I'm really excited about making these pumpkin cakes. I already have the pans and now that I know how to work with fondant...it will be FUN!!! I also like these "eyeballs". I'm thinking that Daniel will just love them!

What shall we do with these?!?!?

It's really bad when Kristen and mom go shopping through the clearance aisle!!! The other day Kristen called and said she was at Hobby Lobby. I asked her to look for something and then called her back and asked her to look for something else. Well, I was only a few stores away...so I said I would just come there. Well, we started going down the 80% off aisle and came across lots of goodies. This is the problem...Kristen and I have been reading too many blogs about different crafting ideas and thus are minds are just spinning. Kristen thinks we need to put candles in our bathroom once I get it painted. We started looking at all of these candlesticks and couldn't make our minds up so we pretty much bought all of them!!!! They were only like $4 and $5 !! We hope to paint them. Be watching for updates!!
